Jio announced its new service at the Indian Mobile Congress 2023. The company has introduced Jio Space Fiber, which will help in keeping remote areas of the country connected. This is satellite-based giga fibe technology, with the help of which internet can be provided to remote locations.

The work of both is to provide internet connectivity to the people. The company has announced this service in IMC 2023, which will run from October 27 to October 29.
Four places in India have been connected by geo-space fiber. These include Gir National Park of Gujarat, Korba of Chhattisgarh, Nabarangpur of Orissa and ONGC-Jorhat of Assam. This is the third major technology in the connectivity portfolio of Reliance Jio after Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber.
What is Geo Space Fiber Technology?
The satellites of SIS company will be used to provide broadband connectivity with the help of Jio Space Fiber. According to the company, Jio Space Fiber will now provide multi-gigabit connectivity anywhere and anytime. ‘Jeo Space Fiber will use innovative and advanced NGSO technology to provide satellite-based internet service to remote areas.
Akash Ambani has also shown the demo of this service to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Indian Mobile Congress. This service is similar to Elon Musk’s Starlink, which will provide you with the internet with the help of satellites. With this, the internet will be available even in those areas where broadband or air fiber is not available.

Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, said on this occasion, ‘Jio made millions of homes and businesses in India experience broadband internet for the first time. With Jio Space Fiber we will cover millions of still unconnected people. Jio Space Fiber provides access to online government, education, health and entertainment services to everyone, everyone will be able to connect to the internet.
