Shahrukh and Prabhas’ fans clash on social media: Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Dunki‘ had its schedule set for Christmas 2023 at the time of the announcement.

The release date of Prabhas’ film ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Seize the Fire’ kept getting delayed and ended up arriving right alongside ‘Dunki.’ Shahrukh’s film was released on December 22, while Prabhas’ film came out on the 23rd.

Both superstars have massive fan followings, so much so that they have numerous fan clubs on social media. During the clash of both films, Shahrukh and Prabhas fans flooded social media.

With ‘Dhanki’ releasing first, ‘Salar’ faced difficulty in getting screens, creating tension and heat. Presently, fans of both superstars, the proclaimed soldiers of social media, are at odds over the discrepancy in box office collections.

Amidst the fervour of fans on social media, unnecessary, indecent, and ill-mannered discussions took place. Now, ‘SALAAR‘ director Prashant Neel has addressed these clashes among the fans of his stars.

In cinema, this is what happens

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Prashant Neel said, ‘In cinema, this is what happens. You create an environment for your favourite hero and sometimes get emotional.

For the fans, it will be like this (like a war), but we are not competing with each other. We are both trying to survive together.’

‘Salaar’ and ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ are both earning well at the box office in their own right. Where ‘KGF: Chapter 2,’ made primarily for the proper Hindi audience, has already collected more than 160 crores in its first week, ‘Salar‘ has crossed the 300 crore mark in its first week.

Both are very big stars.

Prashant Neel continued, “I am not in favor of being a part of such a fight. From what I heard, it was very bad according to that.

And I really wish it hadn’t escalated to this point because both stars are very big in the Indian film industry, and they have earned the respect they have for years.

This whole atmosphere is not good for the cinema either. There’s no way to control such a thing. Therefore, it should be ignored. It should be let go.
