Pankaj Tripathi shared that before shooting for ‘Main Atal Hoon,’ he faced many difficulties as he had to spend two hours daily in the makeup room for prosthetic makeup.
Body and mind undergo a lot of hardship
Speaking exclusively with ABP Ancut during an interview, Pankaj Tripathi was asked about the challenges of transforming himself into both the young and elderly Atal Bihari Vajpayee through prosthetic makeup.
In response, he mentioned, ‘It was very challenging. You cannot work for an hour with it at a temperature of 45 degrees. It puts a lot of strain on the body and mind. I might not take up another film in my life that requires prosthetic makeup.
Had to sit for two hours every day
I had to sit for two hours every day, said Pankaj Tripathi. He continued, “In my 14-year career, the most challenging work so far has been prosthetic makeup.
I am the kind of person who can’t sit at the makeup table for more than 10 minutes, but I had to sit for two hours every day.
You don’t have to move in the morning, sitting with your eyes closed while two people continuously do the makeup. The smell of various chemicals is always present.

In addition, Pankaj Tripathi has also revealed that he is soon going to work in Bhojpuri films. He said, ‘I have a strong desire to do Bhojpuri films.
Now, I want to make a film of my choice. I’ll have to choose a script, and money is also needed for that. Filmmaking is a challenging and expensive job.
