Salaar Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ has become the biggest opener of the year. It’s breaking many records at the box office.

Salaar Box Office Opening Day Collection

Prabhas’s ‘Salaar’ has proven to be the most phenomenal at the box office this year. According to Sacnilk report, initial estimates suggest that the film earned 95 crore rupees on its first day across all languages in India.

‘Salaar’ made an incredible income in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the movie collected 70 crore rupees. In Telugu, the film maintained an occupancy rate of 88.93%.

It also performed well in Karnataka and Kerala, recording approximately 12 crore rupees and 5 crore rupees, respectively, on the first day at the box office.

Salaar was released in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, English, Tamil, and Kannada. According to Hombale Films, the producers of the movie, Salaar has reportedly earned 175 crores worldwide (initial estimate).

Alongside this, Prabhas has proven to be the biggest opener of 2023 where his movie has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan,’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal.’ While ‘Pathan‘ made a collection of 57 crores on its opening day in India, ‘Animal‘ and ‘Jawaan‘ had openings of 75 crores and 63 crores respectively.

The film performed very well in America also.

In both the United States of America and North America, Salar secured the second position in the top 5 premieres for Indian films, earning $2.60 million, just behind RRR, which earned $3.46 million. Other films on the list include ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘Kabali’, and ‘Lion’, which earned $2.45 million, $1.92 million, and $1.86 million respectively.

Let me tell you, director Prashant Neel, who has previously directed KGF films, this box office opening is not the best start for his career. KGF 2, the 2022 film, started with a phenomenal earning of 116 crores in India and made over 1000 crores worldwide.

Hombale Films’: Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Hassan, and Jagapati Babu in prominent lead roles.

Alongside Prabhas in the movie Ceasefire. Directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, will be released in two parts: Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Shouryaanga Parvam as Part 2.

This film is 2 hours and 55 minutes long and has received an ‘A’ Certificate from the censor board.

The movie includes several violent battle scenes, aggression, and war sequences.

Let us tell you that Salaar is in direct competition with Dunki which has earned Rs. 30 crores at the box office.

Now it will be interesting to see how long the dunki will be able to withstand the storm of Salar.
