The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE): will soon release the datesheet of Class 10 and Class 12 board exam 2024. In line with the previous announcement of the Board, the scheduled date of commencement of CBSE Board Exam 2024 is 15th February, the estimated duration of which is approximately 55 days, which will end by 10th April. Generally, the datasheet is published approximately 1 to 1.5 months before the first day of board exams. In the academic year 2023, Class 10 exams ended on March 21, while Class 12 exams were extended until April 5.
Additionally, the CBSE board exams are expected to be conducted in a single session, Starting at 10:30 in the morning and concluding at 1:30 in the afternoon.
Lakhs of students are eagerly waiting for the release of their board exam date sheet (CBSE Date Sheet 2024).
Let us tell you that earlier this year, the Ministry of Education in India announced that the board examinations for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted twice a year starting from the academic year 2024-25.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has confirmed that it will not be mandatory for students to appear for Class 10 and 12 board exams twice a year.
CBSE 10th, and 12th board exam date sheets soon
Many state boards including UP Board, Rajasthan Board, Assam Board and Mizoram Board have released the date sheet and timetable of high school and intermediate board exams.
In such a situation, lakhs of CBSE students are waiting for the release of their datesheet. There is not much time left for the exams to start (from 15th February). In such a situation, it is expected that CBSE can soon release the 10th-12th board exam date sheet.
CBSE will release the datesheet on its official website cbse.gov.in. If we talk about the previous pattern, the board releases the date sheet one and a half months before the commencement of the examination.
In the year 2023, the CBSE datesheet was released in December and the examinations were conducted from 15 February to 05 April. Board exams are conducted in single shifts from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. It is believed that CBSE may release the datesheet in the second or third week of December.

- Step 1: After the datesheet is released, students CBSE Go to the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on ‘CBSE Class 10 board exam 2024 datesheet’ or ‘CBSE Class 12 board exam 2024 datesheet’ link (will be active soon) in the ‘Latest News’ section on the home page.
- Step 3: PDF of the datesheet will open on the screen, check the subject wise board exam time table in it.
- Step 4: Download the datesheet and take a printout and keep it with you for further reference.
CBSE Practical Exams and Sample Papers
CBSE has released the schedule of practical examinations of class 10 and 12. Practical examinations for both classes 10 and 12 in CBSE affiliated schools will begin from January 1 and end on February 15, 2024. For winter schools, practical examinations/projects/internal assessments for session 2023- 24 for both classes 10 and 12 are being conducted from November 14 to December 14, 2023.
